One More Week!

In seven days, I will officially be on Christmas Break!  I am so ready for the semester to be over, but I am not going to be ready to start a new semester.  I think laziness plays a role in that.
Tomorrow night, Kayla Tait and I are going to Marietta to watch the boy's basketball game, and Thursday night I am going to watch Shawn coach at their wrestling meet.  Along with studying and finishing up last minute assignments, this week is going to be busy busy busy!
Tonight I went to the last Zumba class of the semester for me.  I won't make it to the Thursday night session, unfortunately.  I absolutely love going to those classes.  They make me feel accomplished after the class is over.

Blaaah!

This is the last week of classes before finals.  I CAN'T WAIT TO BE ON BREAK!!!  This week is dragging, and it's only Monday.
Last weekend Kayla and Tait came home with me on Friday night.  We had a blast at my mom's Mary Kay party.  Saturday night I took my boyfriend's niece to a festival in Granville, and drove around to see Christmas lights.  Leah loved it, and it made her very excited for Christmas.  She thought Santa was going to come that night.
Thursday I am going to Shawn's wrestling match.  He coaches wrestling at my high school, and they have their first match then.  Hopefully they do well, or else he won't be in a very good mood.

Countdown to the Weekend!

This weekend, Kayla and Tait are coming home with me for my mom's Mary Kay party on Friday night, and on Saturday Kayla and I are going out to eat and to see a movie.  I'm excited to spend the weekend with them!
Today seems like it will never end.  Tuesdays are always the worst.  They make it feel like the week is never going to end.  And it makes it even worse that there are only eleven more school days until I am done with my finals.
Tomorrow I have my last concepts of wellness class, which is a plus.  I hate the classes that have mandatory attendance.  Now I'm heading over to my brother's room to see what he is up to for the evening, and later we are going to watch the OSU vs. Duke basketball game.

Back to Reality.

Thanksgiving Break was AMAZING!  Unfortunately, we are back to the normal school week for two more weeks.  After that...the killer, stressful, stay-up-late-to-study-aalllll-night week comes into play.  Finals Week....
I am not looking forward to that week, because I know it will be my last chance to get my grades up.  I start on that Monday at 12:00 with my speech exam.  I'm not exactly sure what he will put on the exam, but I definitely need to pick up my grade in that class.
Once that week is over though, I will be enjoying Christmas break for almost a whole month.  I can't wait.  Thanksgiving was just a tease for what is yet to come.  I did not want to come back to class after Thanksgiving, so I can only imagine how hard it will be to come back for the last semester. UGHH. Time to get studying!

SEVEN DAYS!

There are seven more days until Thanksgiving break.  I am so excited to see my whole family all together.  I'm also ready for some awesome food made by my mom, grandma, and aunts..(maybe I'll pitch in some).  Hopefully the break lasts long.
Tonight we have an intramural volleyball game at 10 pm.  Last Thursday we won our first game in three.  We played the freshman softball team.  They weren't very good.  Leigh, Kayla, Tait, Sarah, Emily, RA Emily, Lauren, Hallie, and Kayley are all on my team.  I love all of them, we have so much fun playing and don't take anything too seriously.
Last night my computer crashed while we were tie-dying shirts for our team, and someone from CNS came and fixed it for me.  I was so thankful then for having my roommate, because she was the one who texted him and told him to come and help me.  It worked out wonderfully.
I'm hoping that these seven days fly by! Time to go do some laundry.

Too Much Work..

At the beginning of the year, there was a lot of work getting started with classes...Now, there is a lot of work wrapping up the classes.  We are on the downhill slope, and professors are giving us more work to help get grades up.
This Friday is the last Sociology class, and my group is giving a presentation in it.  My professor is going on maternity leave, and she's putting the last few assignments on black board so we can finish them.  I also have a presentation Thursday in my speech class.  I'm presenting an informative power point on Christmas Shopping.
As the weeks go by, the work load seems to be piling up more and more, but since it's college that's pretty much a given.  I know that when Christmas break is here I will be able to breathe, knowing that I won't have any work due when I get back.  I just have to start new classes.  Thank goodness Freshman yer is flying by!

WEEKEND!

This weekend my brother, his girlfriend, myself, and my boyfriend, are making a road trip to see our high school football team play their first playoff game this year, at Dover.  It should be a fun trip. The four of us always have a great time together, and hopefully the football team does well.
Also this weekend, Shawn and I are going to O'Charley's for dinner, and then to see a movie in Pickerington.  We haven't decided what movie we want to see yet, but I'm excited for a date night.  We don't get too many of them because he's always so busy with work, and now I'm here at school.
Today I had an exam in Psychology, which I hope I got a good grade on.  I'm pretty positive that I did. I went to the Student Success Center last night for a little extra help.  I need to keep my grade up in there in order to keep my scholarship.  Which that makes me pretty nervous.  Well, that's all for today. Time to pack up, head to my last class, and then go HOME!
